Logan, Ohio, is the home of the last remaining washboard factory in the United States. During the festival, the washboard is featured in some of the music as a percussion instrument. Added attractions are tours of the washboard factory, food, arts & crafts, kids activities, tractor show and parade.
The Washboard Fest has been ongoing since 2000. Although we were unable to have the 2020 Fest due to COVID-19, which would have been our 20th year, we will celebrate this milestone in 2021. The Fest is completely run by a group of dedicated volunteers who work very hard to put on a festival of this size.
Logan is the gateway to Southeastern Ohio's scenic wonderland of State Parks and outdoor activities. Each year, 4.5 million people visit our county. so come on in and stay awhile. Enjoy the festival plus all that Hocking County has to offer.
Visitors are expected!
Donations toward the children's activities will eliminate our having to sell $5 wristbands for each child. This will allow all kids to participate without cost to the parents. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and all donations are tax deductible.
